Altra historically has been known for their zero drop running shoes (there is no difference in height between the heel and forefoot), however the brand have since introduced their low 4mm drop range of shoes which now welcomes the latest addition with the FWD Via.

All-new EGO™FLO super-critical foam

While standing out as another one of Altra's low drop road shoe offerings, one of the biggest stand outs of the FWD Via is the use of Altra's brand new foam EGO™FLO. Infused with nitrogen, it provides with it a more responsive sensation but lighter in weight compared to more traditional midsole compounds, all in achieving a soft, responsive and max-cushioned ride.

Original FootShape Fit

Staying true to what Altra does best, the FWD Via provides the Original FootShape™ Fit - that being the roomiest of Altra’s three FootShape™fits. The spacious toe box comes with plenty of room to help runners' toes move more freely with extra space through the midfoot.

A step forward from the Via Olympus

While building on the foundations of the Via Olympus 2 released earlier this year, the FWD Via boasts upgrades, not just to its increase in drop from zero (found in the Via Olympus) to the low drop 4mm in the FWD Via, but the FWD Via weighs less than the Via Olympus 2 and offers increased innovation with its new supercritical foam.

The Altra FWD Via will suit an everyday runner who prioritises more cushioning and comfort for their daily training.
