FIRST IMPRESSIONS

Visually, I find the shoe great to look at. The bright red colour has real impact and created a WOW effect as soon as I unboxed them. They also feel very comfortable to wear, with no pressure points and a surprisingly stable base despite the stack height.

THE UPPER

The upper is made of a soft jacquard mesh called MOTION WRAP™ that sits comfortably on the foot. It is slightly transparent, which visually demonstrates just how light and breathable the shoe is. The upper fits perfectly around the foot and has no uncomfortable pressure points.

The seamless construction of the upper also supports targeted air circulation while reducing the risk of irritation from rubbing and irritation. The forefoot and rearfoot are supported by the material compression, so that the sensitive areas of the foot are protected.

THE MIDSOLE

Extremely lightweight and responsive, the innovative FF Blast Turbo cushioning technology helps create an exceptional response so you can run much faster. With each step, the midsole compresses before quickly bouncing back to its original shape to give you an explosive response. In addition, the midsole provides cushioning to relieve pressure on joints like the knees and ankles. This prevents injuries and helps prevent fatigue. THE OUTSOLE

The ASICSGRIP outsole guarantees outstanding grip and traction. I felt connected to the ground and it helped to increase my running efficiency to make every second count. This shoe makes me feel confident and in complete control in all conditions. In addition, it is extremely durable and abrasion resistant, so it retains its shape and definition for a long time.

SIZE - FIT AND FEEL

In terms of length, this shoe fits true to size.

At the forefoot, the shoe is slightly wider, so it fits perfectly for a normal to wide foot. Even with a narrow foot, the shoe is good to run, you just have to tie the laces tighter.

My feet felt firmly locked in place during exercise and very comfortable due to the high-level of cushioning.

OVERALL

The high sole construction (forefoot 34mm, heel 34mm) automatically makes your strides longer, which means a faster pace and increased energy return. The carbon plate and responsive energy foam in the midsole pleasantly absorb and return impact forces, so little energy is lost.

The ASICS METASPEED SKY+ is the perfect shoe for competition and fast paced sessions on the road. It's extremely lightweight and in my opinion the perfect competition shoe for road running. It is more suitable for elite performers because of the lightweight construction and racing profile. A shoe built specifically for speed and dynamic performance.
