It’s not PB season for nothing. You’ve probably spent the summer enduring relentless heat, humidity and battling dehydration. With cooler temperatures comes better performance, and reward for your hard work over the summer.

Autumn means you’ll get to see stunning sunrises on your morning runs. Add to that frosty mornings, a kaleidoscope of autumnal colours, atmospheric mists and releasing your inner child kicking through piles of leaves…what’s not to love?

3. An Excuse for a New Wardrobe
A change in seasons means a change in your running wardobe, and kit that will keep you safe in low light and protect you from the elements. It’s time for baselayers, tights, hi vis jackets, soft brushed fabrics and lots of reflectivity - bring on the layers!

There’s no better feeling than arriving home after an exhilarating run through autumn mist and drizzle. And the post run snacks are better too - think hearty home-made butternut squash soup and hot milk chocolate - who knew recovery could taste so good?
