OH WHAT A NIGHT!
The SportsShoes Podium Festival saw some of the fastest athletes in the world competing in the men's and women's elite races and we were not disappointed, including the fastest ever road 5k on British soil by Ethiopia’s Hagos Gebrewitt.

ELITE WOMEN'S 5K RACE:
1st: Asmarech Anley 14:59
2nd: Caroline Nyaga 14:59
3rd: Meseret Yeshaneh 15:14
Re-live the action from the women's race as Asmarech Anley pips Caroline Nyaga to take the win in an incredible time of 14:59 - a new course record. Elsewhere we saw Abbie Donnelly, Melissa Courtney-Bryant and Verity Ockenden battle it out in the English 5K Championships.

ELITE MEN'S 5K RACE:
1st: Hagos Gebrewitt 13:19
2nd: Amos Langat 13:24
3rd: Daniel Kosen 13:27
In a stellar line-up of world class athletes, Hagos Gebrhiwet took the win and set a new 5K British road record in the process. The men's elite race saw Amos Langat and Daniel Kosen finish 2nd and 3rd. Elsewhere we saw Nick Griggs set a new NI record, Will Barnicoat finish first Brit and Jake Wightman setting a new road 5K PB.
