
Calmness Flow: Home Exercises to help combat Anxiety with George Pearse
Designed to build overall strength while helping to relieve stress and anxiety in uncertain times, this six minute workout created by PT and psychotherapist George Pearse is about starting the day in the right way. George takes us through a combination of movements and breathing techniques aimed at gently getting the body moving while promoting a calm, positive mind set and setting us up for the day ahead.

MAIN WORKOUT
Seated breathing to lying deep breaths
Lying chest and upper back openers x 5, with glute bridges in between the 2 sets
Windscreen Wipers for lower back mobility
Onto knees for cat-camel spinal mobility
Then Thread the Needles
Spinal Rotations from a low squat position
5 breaths in plank
Up into Downward Facing Dog
From Down Dog alternate knee strikes
Walking back into a forward fold, hamstring set
Spinal lift, finishing with shoulder shrugs
