Altra Vanish-R Racing Shoes
The Altra Vanish-R is a lightweight, adaptable Unisex racing shoe which comes supplied with two insoles for a customisable fit and exceptional cushioning. (Please note both insoles are in the shoe when supplied). A breathable mesh upper creates a cool, dry and healthy environment for your feet while the ultra responsive, springy EVA midsole further enhances comfort. The outsole is comprised of laminated rubber pods for optimal grip and traction.
Breathable Mesh Upper
The upper of the Vanish-R has been constructed using a breathable mesh, to help eradicate the build-up of excess sweat and moisture to ensure your feet remain cool, dry and comfortable as you strive for the best results and performance. Additionally, cool air is encouraged to circulate, creating a drier, healthier environment for your feet to thrive. As well as providing moisture control, the upper is extremely lightweight, enhancing performance and offering a more streamlined fit to give you total comfort as you accelerate. The mesh offers a secure, glove-like fit to bolster security when running as well as an A-Strap support in the midfoot for extra stability.
Despite being relatively lightweight in stature, the upper features a FootShape toe-box to keep your feet protected from any debris or objects you typically encounter when running. This also encourages a more generous toe-splay and flexibility so you gain the maximum from your run. Two insoles offer a customisable fit and exceptional cushioning, giving you a plush, comfortable feel as you move.
EVA Midsole
A durable, spring EVA compound resides in the midsole of the Vanish-R to deliver ultra-responsive cushioning and superior comfort when running. This also helps attenuate shock and reduce the impact placed upon your knees and joints which minimises the potential risk of injury or discomfort. Working alongside the EVA midsole technology is a TPU Propel Plate which offers maximum energy transfer for maximum propulsion. The Zero Drop Platform is specifically designed to improve gait efficiency and deliver an all-around, enjoyable run.
Laminated Rubber Pod Outsole
Laminated rubber pods are situated throughout the outsole for optimal grip and traction to deliver a firm, assured footing when running. As well as improving the aforementioned grip and traction, the pods encourage flexibility and a full, unrestricted range of motion in all directions to enhance mobility when and where you need it the most. The rubber is highly durable and will stand the test of time to repeatedly deliver reliability as you clock up the miles.
