Buffalo Special 6 Jacket
A classic that's developed with and for the special forces. The Special 6 has been tested for 30 years and in the most hostile conditions. It's used by the Military, Police, and Mountain Rescue Teams. It's an ideal garment for a multitude of outdoor uses.
The perfect hiking companion, the Special 6 is a cosy, warm and protective layer to shield you in changing conditions. Utilising a Pertex Quantum shell, the jacket will keep you warm in the hills and beyond, providing you with a tightly woven structure for insulation that fully lofts. The shell also has a durable water-repellent (DWR) finish that sheds light rain and snow to provide additional weather protection. Working in tandem with this is an AquaTherm pile lining, further keeping you cosy and sitting softly next to your skin, as well as the exceptional windproof properties of the garment, which supply you with at least 50mph of protection. To ensure you get the best experience from this garment, it is best worn next to the skin. The Special 6 has a close-fitting design, without causing too much restriction. An update from the Mountain Shirt, the jacket has a cut that's 5cm longer, allowing rain to run off. The jacket has a multitude of helpful additions, allowing you to feel prepared for your adventures. A spacious zipped front map pocket and handwarmer pocket allow you to store things safely, whilst also keeping your hands cosy when things get chilly. Allowing you to make multiple changes to the fit of the garment, there are touch-and-close adjustment tabs for preventing windchill. The garment has touch-and-close hip adjusters for a preferred fit, as well as a tape and buckle waist adjuster. Allowing you to control the airflow that runs through the garment, there are multiple ventilation controls, including two-way side zips.
