Deuter Guide Ultra 26 Backpack
For Alpinists who keep pushing themselves and want a lightweight yet robust backpack for their ambitious projects, the Guide Ultra 26 is lightweight and durable. Offering comfort, stability, and agility for tackling challenging alpine terrain, it ensures you can focus on your adventure.
With an ultra-lightweight design and advanced materials, the Guide Ultra 26 is ideal for alpine adventures. This durable pack utilises Dyneema and Ripstop fabric to help reduce weight and provide exceptional durability against harsh weather and rugged terrains, allowing you to carry essential gear without added weight or compromising on performance and resilience. Its streamlined design gives a more universal fit suitable for most body types with a close-to-body fit perfect for climbing, mountaineering or skiing. Crafted from 50D Dyneema Composite fabric and 420D PA FD Ripstop, the backpack features a tough exterior that resists abrasion, moisture and UV rays. 420D PA FD Ripstop reinforces the backpack, protecting it from tears, punctures and general wear, providing you with a reliable pack for whatever the adventure. Thanks to its IPX4 rating, the Guide Ultra 26 is water-resistant, keeping your belongings protected against light rain, snow and splashes. Taped seams further enhance the weather protection provided by the pack, sealing stitching and preventing moisture from entering to keep gear dry in damp conditions.
Equipped with the Deuter Alpine back system, this pack utilises two flexible foam strips that run along the back panel. They are engineered to distribute the load evenly across your back and create a secure fit that prevents discomfort during carry. Additionally, the back system is flexible, allowing the backpack to move better with you for added stability and a snug fit and feel during long or intense activities. Perfect for tackling challenging terrain, this Alpine back system promotes airflow to reduce heat build-up and keep you feeling cool, dry and comfortable during strenuous excertions.
Featuring top entry complete with a roll-top closure, the Guide Ultra 26 offers quick access to your gear while a side entry zipper gives more direct entry access that allows you to easily reach gear further down without unloading items from the top. A front pocket with zipper keeps essentials quick and easy to grab, and attachments on both sides allow you to stow tools like poles and ice axes. An internal compartment allows you to better organise your gear, and a key clip prevents keys from being buried. External compression straps stabilise the load, and webbing loops provide extra lashing points for additional ropes and climbing essentials. This design keeps your load balanced and organised for any expedition. These straps help distribute weight more evenly by cinching down the pack and pulling the contents closer to your back, reducing strain on your body and keeping you agile. They can even be removed when not needed, providing flexibility for different load setups. Further enhancing the close, adjustable fit, a detachable waist belt and 2-way sternum strap allow you to customise the fit of the pack to suit your needs. An SOS label and a whistle provide essential safety features for alpine and outdoor adventures. The safety whistle, integrated into the sternum strap buckle, is easily accessible and designed for one-handed use, allowing you to signal for help in case of an emergency.
