Gore R5 Windstopper Jacket

Constructed using GORE's signature Windstopper fabrication, the R5 Windstopper Jacket provides excellent weather protection. The fabric is totally windproof and delivers maximum breathability to keep you comfortable in cool and windy weather conditions. By blocking out ferocious wind this technology keeps you warm and protected as you train whilst still allowing the garment to release warm air and let cooler, fresher air in. This combination of protection and breathability minimizes the wind's chilling effect and reducing the risk of overheating when you are active. Windstopper is also water repellent ensuring you remain dry during light showers. Within the jacket, a versatile fleece lining provides thermal protection to keep you warm on cold winter days. The fleece lining traps heat between its fibres to ensure the wearer stays warm and comfortable at all times.
Futhermore, on the back of the jacket ventilated opening exists to increase overall breathability. The openings allow cool air to flow throughout the garment to reduce heat build-up and increases ventilation. The vents keep you feeling cool when temperature rise so you'll never feel and uncomfortable heat build-up. As well as this, a front zip exists for complete temperature control, in colder climates it can be worn up to seal in heat or when the temperature begins to rise it can be worn down to increase ventilation. Adjustments can be made at the hem by a cord stopper within the pocket that helps to cinch in around the hem to prevent cold air from entering the interior plus, a high collar protects the neck from harsh winds. A front media pocket with cable outlet provides the perfect place for you to store your phone as you run.
