Inov8 Shoe Fit Scale
For technical footwear, a good fit is essential to enhance your performance. Inov8's new Shoe Fit Scale makes it easier to find the perfect fitting shoe. All Inov8 shoes are designed with Met-Cradle technology to lock down the mid-foot for a stable hold, where they differ is in the toe box. The shoes are now graded from 1 to 5, Grade 1 representing their closest, most precise fit and Grade 5 representing the widest fitting toe box.
The lower the number on the scale, the narrower the fit, which ensures minimal internal movement of the foot when running fast on technical terrain. Shoes with the higher numbers on the scale will suit athletes with a wider foot and those wanting that extra comfort in the toe box. This wider toe box allows the toes to splay for increased stability when lifting heavy weights. It's also perfect for longer runs and races when toes begin to swell.
Inov8 have graded the All Train 215 Training Shoes as Grade 3.
An external heel cage is located at the rear of the upper which helps to utilise the use of lightweight TPU technology and geometric shape is designed to stabilise when performing lifts or during strength training. For a snug and customised fit the AdapterFit is perfect as when you slip on the new All-Train 215, the new ADAPTERFIT Met-cradle and the gusseted, soft, elastic, mesh liner will lock down your midfoot for lateral movement support. The laces attach to this system and adjust at each eyelet to provide the snug, customised fit.
The shoe is also extremely lightweight and at just 215 grams you immediately notice how light the shoe feels in your hands. Like any inov-8 shoe, it is minimally designed to create the lightest, most durable shoe achievable. It is stripped back wherever possible without overlays or extra decorative pieces to move fast and naturally with you throughout your workout.
The fusion compound in the midsole is an inov-8 designed material that gives a unique combination of cushioning and power. This will offer comfort in your longest endurance workouts and power in your strength training. The power is put to great use with the addition of Meta-Flex which allows efficient, natural, explosive movement as you push off your midfoot.
The different colours on the outsole indicate inov-8's patented sticky rubber compounds, strategically placed in high impact areas for secure foot placement in any agility workout. Like in the midsole, Meta-Flex is also used in the outsole with the groove designed into the outsole of the shoe creates a natural flexion point at the forefoot. All train traction is a huge assistance when you are training. You're moving side to side, fast, sharp and sudden movements. The geometric design of the triangular claw-shaped cleats provide traction and grip for movement in any direction.
