The Eigerjoch Pro is an extra-warm insulated jacket for bitter-cold and extreme conditions. It offers the protection you can depend on and an impressive set of clever features.
Including a combination of exceptionally technical materials, the Eigerjoch is warm, cosy and water-resistant. The jacket uses Pertex Quantum Pro materials used on the outside of the jacket are super-light with an ultra-thin water-repellent coating, providing exceptional weather protection to keep you dry during light rain. Not only this, but the Quantum Pro ensures you remain warm and cosy, alongside PrimaLoft Black which is a warm, soft and lightweight synthetic insulation, for ultimate warmth. The Pertex Diamond Fuse that's utilised in the construction of the jacket uses yarns with unique diamond-shaped filaments that interlock to form durable, highly abrasion-resistant and water-repellent fabrics for further protection and comfort in changing weather. A water-resistant, warm, down material, the jacket uses HyperDRY down, which features a unique fluorocarbon-free treatment, which works to retain the superior warmth to weight ratio even in wet weather, and taped seams further prevent water from entering. Premium goose down compliant with the Responsible Down Standard coupled with the double chamber construction keeps you nice and warm, making sure there aren't any cold spots.
The jacket has an array of convenient features, to keep you prepped and ready for your adventures. Two internal pockets made from elastic mesh materials, and two climbing-harness-compatible front pockets with zippers allow you to store your essentials safely. A backpack-compatible chest pocket with a zipper allows you to store small items, whilst allowing you access easily when you're wearing a bag and an internal chest pocket means valuables are stored discreetly. The jacket has an additional stow bag with carabiner loops, allowing you to pack the jacket away easily, and with the ability to store it on your person conveniently. To allow an easy on/off construction, the jacket has a YKK Vislon 2-way zipper, which will also allow you to control the airflow. The jacket also utilises Mammut High Reach Technology, allowing you to move, bend and stretch freely and comfortably. The helmet-compatible hood with reinforced peak and 3-point adjustments provides you with the preferable fit and enhances coverage in bad weather. Finally, the one-hand adjustable drawstring cord with Cohaesive stoppers allows easy adjustment of the hem and hood, even when you're wearing gloves.
