Terracare Upper
Constructed using eco-friendly Terracare leather, the Nova IV Low GORE-TEX provides lightweight stability whilst giving you protection for all your hikes. The Terracare leather has been uniquely produced using state-of-the-art methods with minimal water and electricity use, meaning this shoe is produced using renewable energy sources. Featuring a GORE-TEX membrane, the shoes are completely waterproof, for protection in wet, soggy conditions, and super breathable to prevent feet from overheating. An elastic GORE-TEX tongue construction stops water and debris from entering the shoes, keeping all areas of your foot protected. The upper also features Rubber Protection including a heel counter and a toe protector to shield feet on tough terrain. Completing the upper is a standard lacing system that locks down the midfoot, reducing the risk of in-shoe slippage.
EVA Midsole
Mammut have used an EVA midsole providing you with excellent cushioning throughout. EVA is mapped out to cushion your landing and provide you with shock-absorbing properties to reduce the risks of irritation or discomfort and encourage soft strides. To A 3D Memo Foam insole provides you with an individual fit, by contouring to the shape of your foot and supplying cushioning at the instep, shin and ankle for a plush feel.
Vibram Outsole
Keep that spring in your step with the Vibram Outsole, a specific tread pattern has been designed for this shoe. With hexagonal lugs in the sole tread, this shoe is designed with Vibram to give you all the grip you'll need as well as the traction through this specific tread pattern. Rolling Concept is a technology designed by Mammut and only used on Mammut footwear and aims to support and cushion the foot enough to encourage its natural rolling movement and consequently reduce the fatigue and danger of twisting your ankle ensuring you remain well-protected on all surfaces.
