The Mammut Crater IV is a premium, full-featured technical jacket that does it all and is designed for extra durability on technical alpine expeditions. The jacket has been designed using a three-layer GORE-TEX fabric with PFC-free ePE membrane which is highly protective and shields you from poor, wet weather while being highly breathable to provide optimum comfort across a range of conditions. Mammut High Reach technology resides in the jacket to provide unrestricted freedom of movement when climbing without restrictions getting in the way. A water-resistant Aquaguardtwo-way front zip assists in putting the jacket on and off whilst preventing water from entering, ensuring you remain dry at all times. Two-way water-resistant underarm zips increase ventilation while a stormproof, vertically and horizontally adjustable helmet-compatible hood with a reinforced shield provides additional elemental protection and allows for an optimum field of vision at all times and is easy to adjust. To stop windchill and provide an adjustable fit, the jacket has adjustable hook-and-loop cuffs while the pre-shaped sleeves further enhance the range of motion. Two climbing harness-compatible front pockets with water-repellent zips and a zippered inner pocket provide optimal space to store your essentials and are accessible whilst wearing a backpack while the hem width can be adjusted using the drawstring.
