ESS Wave Plate Midsole

X10 Outsole
The Wave Sonic 2 features an X-10 outsole, which provides durability and traction. Made from extremely durable Mizuno carbon rubber, it allows longer wear in high impact areas and provides more traction at the heel strike. Lastly, zig-zag grooves reside in the forefoot that promotes a more responsive toe-off. The grooves additionally allow the shoe to flex where the foot naturally flexes providing a more comfortable running experience.
