Material Construction And Benefits
The outer layer of the Trail 2SK is made from Apex-Lite, a material which offers a wide variety of benefits. A MicroGrid method, the Trail 2SK enhances airflow by allowing cool air to flow into the garment at the same time as warm air is released. The superfine polyester yarns used allow the tee to draw excess sweat and moisture away from the skin and move it to outer fabric layers where it can be easily evaporated. Perfect for sunny days, this fabric offers UPF 30+ protection which will protect the wearer's skin from harmful UV rays. Polygiene odour control is also offered by this fabric. This helps to prevent the build-up of bacteria which could potentially cause odour and/or damage to the garment.
The inner short is made from X-Skin hyper stretch material. This was specifically chosen for its quick-drying, hard-wearing properties. X-Skin allows the garment to stretch and fit snugly around the body without losing its shape or causing the wearer to feel as though their movements are being restricted. Again, Polygiene odour control is offered by this fabric. This helps to prevent the build-up of bacteria which could potentially cause odour and/or damage to the garment.
Other Key Features
The waistband is made from a blend of mesh and elasticated fabric. This will allow warm air to be released effortlessly. The stretchy elasticated waist will allow the short to sit snugly around the waist without causing the wearer to feel restricted. A zippered pocket has been placed on the back of the short which provides secure and easily accessible storage space for essential items. Gel pockets have also been added to the back of the short, perfect for regaining energy quickly on longer adventures. Reflective detailing has also been added to the short which will allow the wearer to remain safe and visible as they train in possible lower lighting conditions.
