Montane Halogen 45L Backpack
Built for multi-day mountain assaults, the Halogen 45 has versatility at its core. The ample feature set includes light and tough RAPTOR fabrics combined with the latest ZephyrAD adjustable back system for supreme tailored comfort and load stability on the move.
Designed for high-performance activities, the tough but light Raptor Geo 210 Fabric resists rock, snow, and ice, giving the backpack Montane's signature protection. It is extremely durable and works to keep the pack and its contents protected and secure. Raptor endurance 420 is used on the base of the pack; known for its low weight and high strength this fabric uses genuine rip-stop for excellent tear resistance. Featuring a Contact Open Mesh back panel with Air Mesh Plus on the shoulder straps, the Halogen 45 pack combines fantastic ventilation with all-day comfort and quick drying times, essential in harsh conditions. Halo fabric lines the pack, it is superbly lightweight, water and abrasion resistant. This will finish the inside of the pack smoothly without adding unnecessary weight. Additionally, granite stretch has been used on the skirt lid and side panels to provide added durability and stretch; designed to move as you do, the fabric stretches to release pressure on the body as you move.
The Montane ZephyrAS back system combines a stiff structure with a soft, comfortable moulded back pad for a close, secure fit whilst also providing fantastic ventilation through the unique design moulded air gaps and channels. The pre-curved, lightweight, central aluminium frame gives the backpack a lightweight structure that does not add unnecessary weight to the pack. Montane's 'Click and Go' chest harness can be operated with a single hand, and works to increases comfort and prevent bulky buckles over the sternum. The Harness is finished with a unique elasticated chest strap which allows for unrestricted breathing during exercise and exertion. A bivi opening with cord-lock quick release adjustment ensures quick and easy access to the pack whilst side and base compression straps allow the packs and its content to be compressed down.
The Halogen 45 pack also features a Multi-pocket configuration including the innovative 'baguette' pocket, which combine stretch bucket side pockets with external storage of water bottles, hats, and gloves with stretch sleeve side panels able to secure longer items such as collapsible poles and rolled up jackets. The pack also contains tool attachment points, allowing safe and easy access to your stowable walking poles.
