Breathable Mesh Upper
With engineered mesh surrounding the upper of the shoe, the material is able to tailor itself to the footshape, making it feel comfortable for any unique foot. Ventilation is guaranteed, as the material allows a steady and constant airflow in and out, meaning you will never feel like you are overheating. Allowing of stretch and movement, the upper is also non-restrictive, which makes your feet feel like it can move, whilst not compromising stability. The toes are protected from any bumps and knocks with thicker material covering them. As well as this, the shoe is sturdy in areas surrounding the heel, which will hold the foot in place, preventing it from slipping around in the foot. TruFuse Midsole
The TruFuse midsole contains a dual-density EVA which is multi-functional and beneficial. Towards the bottom of the midsole, the EVA is dense and firm, which is to act as a shield for the sole of the foot and the rest of the shoe. This EVA is able to absorb shocks instantly and effectively, meaning bumps from uneven terrain won't cause you any damage. The EVA towards the top, and almost in direct comfort with the sole of the foot has cushioning features. This instantly increases comfort on every step. The EVA has thicker and stronger parts covering vulnerable areas such as the heel and on the forefoot. This means that heavy and unexpected impacts on the ground will be absorbed, stopping it from reaching the foot. Using New Balance's technology TBeam, this lightweight, flexible TPU shank is engineered to deliver optimum torsional stability and arch support through a unique center beam design. The result of which will be an added spring in your step.
Durable Rubber Outsole
In direct contact with the ground, the shoe has a durable rubber outsole. This is able to withstand damage from uneven terrain as it is abrasion-resistant. In addition to this, the rubber can create a solid bond of friction with a variety of different surfaces, crucial for control when out running. This will prevent the risk of injury from slipping or rolling your ankle, as you will be held in a firm and upright position. Multi-directional grooves and lugs will further increase traction, as they are strategically placed, assisting with acceleration, braking and changes of direction.
