The R1 Pullover Hoodie is a versatile, technical, midlayer fleece for stop/start activities in cold conditions.
The Patagonoia R1 Pullover Hoodie has been created using the Light and breathable Polartec Power Grid™ fleece fabric with HeiQ Pure odour control. The Polartec Fleece creates mechanical wicking, this is where moisture is drawn away from the surface of the skin by the lower surface area of the grid to the larger surface area of the smooth face fabric on the outside of the hoodie. As this pulls moisture away from your body, it makes the grid fleece feel warmer and enables the garment to dry quicker. The added HeiQ odour control technology in the fabric works to eliminate unwanted odours keeping you feeling fresher for longer no matter how hard you push yourself. The pullover silhouette of the R1 Hoodie has a deep zipper to the front to allow for quick venting, this has also been designed with a longer torso length helping the pullover stay tucked in under a harness or pack waistbelt without riding up and causing discomfort. The hood is a snug-fitting, low-profile balaclava hood that sits comfortably under a helmet strap. The hood has a slim zip with a soft kissing-welt zipper garage at the chin for next-to-skin comfort reducing the risk of chafing. Further enhancing the comfort of the hoodie Patagonia have used off-shoulder seams by doing this the hoodie will sit comfortably under pack straps, without having to readjust the straps on a regular basis. Finishing the R1 hoodie is the chest pocket big enough to store your essential items and the on-seam thumb holes that provide extra coverage in colder conditions.
