The Argon Pants are filled with the highest quality 800FP ethically sourced European Goose Down. Designed to be worn over a baselayer, the Argon offers extra comfort and warmth around basecamp, in a bivi or to increase your sleeping bag's performance.
Constructed using Pertex Quantum, the Argon Pants are the perfect companion for year-round adventures. Pertex Quantum is a light, soft fabric that allows insulation to fully loft by tapping still air and improving the efficiency of insulation. Working to keep you warm and dry the Pertex Quantum fabrication has been treated with a highly durable water repellent treatment that can shed rain and snow easily for the winter months. It also works to block out cold winds so you can remain toasty and warm when the temperature drops. The construction also allows for a high level of breathability which works to increase airflow so you'll never feel and uncomfortable heat build-up. By allowing cool air to flow into the garment the ventilated fabric creates a perfect microclimate for your skin to thrive in. To keep you comfortable and warm, a Goose Down has been used within the fabrication; it offers unbelievable insulation by trapping warm air inside the garment for maximum warmth at minimum weight. All Rab Down products use ethically sourced European Goose down certified to Responsible Down Standard. This ensures that our entire down supply chain can be traced so consumers can be confident that all down and feathers used in Rab products adhere to the highest possible animal welfare and safety standards. Nikwax has also been used on the pants to keep you insulated even in wet conditions. A belted waistband with snap closure allows you to find a perfect fit whilst the YYK front fly zip allows for an easy on and off. Completing the pants is a stuff sack that allows you to store the pants when they're not in use.
