Welded Mesh Upper

Constructed for winter wear, the Salomon OUTblast TS CSWP Walking Boots work to keep you warm, comfortable and dry at all times. The uppers feature a supportive welded mesh upper that allows for enhanced breathability whilst also ensuring a comfortable and debris-free fit. The mesh allows hot and humid air to escape whilst allowing fresher air in to create a perfect microclimate for your feet to thrive in. This ensures you remain cool, dry and comfortable at all times whilst the tightness of the mesh prevents debris from being trapped between your foot and the footbed. The welded upper is also stitch-free which ensures a smooth, glove-like fit and feel so you can go further for longer in complete comfort. As well as this, the upper also features synthetic overlays which increase structure, support and durability for tough terrain. The overlays help to provide a supportive fit whilst also protecting the upper from loose debris and rocks. Furthermore, to ensure you're kept cool, dry and comfortable in wet weather, a ClimaSalomon Waterproof membrane remains unaffected by water even when under pressure. The fully waterproof membrane ensures protection from harsh rain and snow by preventing water from entering through the upper. As well as this, to ensure you remain warm in colder weather, 200gr of Thinsulate insulation is added. This works by trapping in escaping heat to ensure your feet remain warm in the coldest of climates. Protection is key while out on the trails, so don't worry when wearing the OUTblast as they feature a protective rubber toe cap to enhance protection from loose or sharp rocks. As well as this, the boost also features a mudguard around the base of the shoe to help reduce the build-up of mud so your grip of weight will never be compromised on muddy terrain. Finishing off the upper is a regular lacing system which locks down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.

Energy Cell Midsole

Within the midsole, the shoe has injected and compressed EVA which forms the EnergyCell Midsole. This multi-functional midsole will provide both comfort and protection, as it has dual-density EVA. Towards the bottom, the EVA is extremely firm, which will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole of the foot. Energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. The higher you get in the midsole, the EVA becomes less densely packed, which will make every step feel comfortable. Completing the midsole is a moulded ortholite insole which works to provide superior cushioning and unmatch comfort so you can go further for longer. The insole also increases breathability within the shoe by allowing hot humid air to escape so your feet will never overheat; it is also highly durable ensuring these walking boots stand the test of time.

Contagrip MD Outsole

The Salomon OUTblast TS CSWP Walking Boots features a Contagrip outsole, which provides unique traction technology. Contagrip MD is focused on long-term wear; using the most durable compound, it has a lug pattern that works equally well on both hard and smooth or soft and loose surfaces. With a mix of compound, lob geometry and density, it gives the boot brilliant grip and durability, regardless of the terrain underneath. Utilising different combinations of harder, softer and grippier Contagrip compounds, Salomon's adventure running outsole provides the perfect blend of grip and durability to cover a multitude of terrains. Designed with specifically positions forefoot flex grooves and self-cleaning multi-directional lugs, these outsoles are field tested and proven to dynamically tackle rugged terrains.
