FlexFilm Upper
The Havok XC2 Running Spikes from Saucony are made to using a seamless sock-like inner layer which offers a snug inner fit. This will increase the comfort and stability the wearer receives. An extremely lightweight mesh upper, allows fresh air to permeate the interior footbed providing full breathability to the foot. It keeps the surrounding cool and sweat-free while working in unison FlexFilm no-sew overlays are added to apply the surrounding's with an enhanced fit without adding weight. The flex film layers provide a stabilised fitting when powering through the gait, reducing torsional wear upon the upper and allowing to take impact from oncoming rocks and roots. It also helps to maintain the shape and form of the material while conforming to the foot.
Moulded EVA Midsole
The midsole section consist's of a full-length SSL EVA midsole for lightweight responsive performance, reducing pressures upon the underfoot for a smooth step through any transition. With key placed flex grooves and enabling a durable flexible platform shock impact is dispersed through the compound allowing for a propulsive step-off.
6-Pin Plate
The 6-pin spike plate provides the wearer with exceptional traction when running, and giving an explosive start to the race. With 6-pin spikes, you will be well balanced on the track and every stride will feel smooth as you seek to cross the finish line first.
**You don't want to feel your toe cramped up against the front of the shoe. A spike should feel like it was meant for your foot, a little more snug than a training shoe feels so we would recommend half a size up on normal shoes**
