Mesh Upper

Enhancing the durability of the upper, the Ribelle Run has a mesh upper with a GORE-TEX membrane, a material developed by Scarpa to stand up to forces placed against it, thus protecting the shoe. Additionally, the mesh surrounds the foot, and this will work overtime to keep you feeling ventilated and comfortable. Warm air that builds up inside the shoe is able to escape out, where it is then replaced by cooler air from outside. This process continues over the course of a run, ensuring that you will always feel comfortable within. The upper is built with SCARPA's Sock-Fit LW construction. This features a lightweight and super breathable mesh bootie with heat-sealed reinforcements, which guarantees a precise and even wrap around the foot, while still providing outstanding comfort and flex at the ankle collar, tongue and forefoot. Thick material covers the toes for protection from any bumps or knocks that you might receive. The GORE-TEX membrane resides inside the shoe; supplying a combination of durable waterproofing and optimised breathability. Sometimes it's hard to stay dry without developing that distracting clammy feeling, but GORE-TEX keeps water on the outside while letting perspiration escape from the inside; keeping sweat to a minimum and you, cool and comfy. The lacing system is easy to secure to achieve a comfortable and personalised fit, whilst a flat tongue will also fit comfortably on the ankle, removing any risk of irritation by rubbing.

EVA Midsole

A compressed EVA platform resides underfoot for lightweight, responsive cushioning. Generous, soft and durable, it spares your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces. Exceptionally lightweight, the EVA ensures long-lasting cushioning to keep you comfortable on long-distance days. EVA is extremely firm, which will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole of the foot. Energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. The midsole ensures you're ready for unpredictable trails and tough terrain.

PRESA Outsole

Exceptional grip and control are guaranteed within a range of terrains, and on different surfaces with the PRESA outsole. The rubber is able to form a solid connection to the ground which will create strong traction. This will keep you under control when taking on technical paths and trails. The rubber is abrasion-resistant, which will retain its shape and definition despite being put under the test of hard and rough surfaces. This will mean that the long-term functionality of the outsole is maintained well. 4mm Lugs and grooves will provide extra grip, especially in wet conditions, by anchoring the feet in place to provide a strong base to push on from.
