Scarpa Drago LV Climbing Shoes

Drago LV is the ultimate sensitive slipper, perfect for the modern climber. It has extended rubber coverage on both the toe and the heel and is ideal for all hooking possibilities - reduced volume with an asymmetrical and downturned shape and a medium-to-high angled toe box for excellent toe sensitivity.

Microfibre Upper

The upper of the Drago LV are constructed with a soft touch microfibre, for a soft next-to-skin sensation, making them perfect for long days of climbing. Scarpa uses a 7-panel design to allow the shoe to mould around the foot, with a seamless toe panel alongside an offset four-toe stitch, providing increased comfort and a custom moulded fit the more you wear it. Improving the fit is an improved toe box with a deep, snug and supportive heel, to help lock the foot in place and reduce movement inside the shoe. The slightly arched and asymmetrical shape offers an immediate and natural fit. Around the shoes, Scarpa has added a PCB active randing system giving the shoe top-level flexibility and maintaining the shape of the shoe. An SRT toe rand system with M50 rubber provides unrivalled toe-hooking ability allowing you to grip rocks easier as you climb. Completing the upper is a single velcro strap and a deep Y attachment for secure hooking with a high-stretch gusset to allow easy entry.

Minimal Flexan Midsole

The midsole of the Drago LV Climbing Shoes is specially designed to ensure maximum support with added flex. The Minimal Flexan midsole is 1.0mm thick to ensure a level of support that doesn't compromise on weight, this has been extended at the back for heel reinforcement. The shoes also include a floating big toe pad for ultimate sensitivity as you climb. Finally, the midsole features a PAF system, an innovative heel system which spreads the force of the heel tension, and increases the fit of the heel. The system adapts to your heel and uses an aggressive tension rubber which is interrupted behind your heel, reducing pressure on the Achilles tendon, allowing full adaptation towards the shape of your heel.

Vibram XS 2 Outsole

Develeoped using a Vibram XS Grip 2 Outsole, these climbing shoes ensure maximum support for outdoor, indoor or lead climbing. This specialist outsole lets you focus your weight on the tiniest of holds and keeps its shape in tough conditions. The XS Grip 2 improves on the superior grip characteristics of XS Grip and delivers outstanding precision, support and stability for outstanding grip in every condition. A truly robust outsole, the XS Grip 2 can endure repeated abuse in hot and cold weather conditions giving you a shoe that can perform in all weather conditions. The rigid nature of the outsole supports you during any climb by adapting to the ground below you and bearing your weight as you move from rock type to rock type.
