Water-Resistant Suede Upper

Having a durable upper will allow for better performance and comfort for climbing. The GORE-TEX membrane ensures durable weather protection for year-round use. It is waterproof and breathable, robust and hardwearing, giving you maximum protection and comfort no matter how long and demanding the walk. The boots feature a padded collar and tongue to ensure a close fit to enhance comfort and also utilise an ActivFit System which provides an optimised feel with space for toes to splay, and feet to relax without feeling cramped. Completing the upper is a speed lacing system that allows you to customise the fit, providing a locked-in feel that helps to reduce in-shoe slippage.
Medium Density EVA Midsole
The medium-density EVA midsole features a supremely plush cushioned feel to help on difficult terrain and keep your feet protected as you clock up the miles, without putting too much strain on your joints. On the medial side, an ESS Shank provides more support and anti-torsional control. A heel cage adds stability and support to provide rigidity to the boot and completing the midsole is the Activ Impact technology which helps to further absorb shock and negative impact with the ground.

A Vibram XS Trek sole guarantees excellent traction on every surface for maximum comfort on any terrain. With its Scarpa XS Trek rubber compound, the outsole easily adapts to any kind of terrain so you can continue with confidence while the lateral outsole volume offers enhanced protection and forefoot containment.
