Scarpa Vapour V LV Women's Climbing Shoes

Microfibre and Suede Upper

Designed using a unique multi-panel upper design, the Vapour V LV utilises a combination of microfibre materials, alongside suede fabrics, for optimum comfort and support on your next climbing endeavours. The multi-panel design provides the best custom moulding fit allowing feet to move and flex across rocks and boulders and with a seamless big-toe panel and low-rise four-toe panel, ensure unrestrictive, irritation-free wearing. Additionally, the microfibre construction means the shoes hold their shape for longer, compared to other leather equivalents plus, it's soft on the skin so you remain confident and comfortable. The shoes have been built on a low-volume FRW last and have a slightly asymmetrical, slightly downturned profile, great precision and comfort. Working alongside this is a padded air mesh tongue, which marries perfectly with the Velcro straps, to ensure an instant, comfortable fit and a secure heel hold.

Full-Length Flexan Midsole

Partnering with a Bi-Tension rand system, the Vapour V utilises a Flexan midsole, which provides low-profile support and comfort, providing you with great cushioning alongside sensitivity to ensure a connection with the rocks or boulders below. This supportive midsole goes across the whole foot to keep you ready to tackle the next, whilst the Bi-Tension rand is anchored under the critical toe area, which connects directly to the heel rand. This system works by pulling power from your toes, rather than them being crammed in a clamber, preventing pain and keeping your feet fresh. This unique construction optimises performance and relieves tension, which also means less rubber is provided, ensuring shoes are lighter in weight, more sensitive and more reactive.

Vibram XS Grip 2 Outsole

Optimising durability underfoot and ensuring a secure grip with changing climbing surfaces, the Vapour V LV uses a Vibram XS Grip outsole. This outsole ensures excellent and precise support for secure edging. The outsole maintains consistent performance during a range of temperatures and provides maximum grip.
