Engineered Knit Upper
The upper is constructed from a highly breathable knit fabrication to deliver comfort and breathability. Built-up heat and vapour are able to escape through perforations, whilst fresh air is encouraged to flow in freely to keep feet cool and comfortable. The higher coverage of this sandal has the added benefit of providing greater forefoot stability, and the W Strapping System provides a secure lockdown, ease of adjustment and a personalised fit. Recycled REPREVE by Unifi webbing is located in the upper and is abrasion-resistant as well as fast-drying for a more durable feel. It is fully traceable and verifiable. Wear with or without socks, depending on your preference. If this is your first time running in sandals, it is advised to try with socks first to introduce your foot to new points of lockdown.
HYPER-COMF Midsole
The Aventrail is fitted with a HYPER-COMF midsole for maximum cushioning and bounce. This technology combines the responsiveness of Super Critical Foams and supportive EVA to make a combination that offers ample cushioning on downhill descents and allows you to keep moving for longer thanks to reduced fatigue. The midsole is finished with a nylon plate that offers responsiveness and propulsion, great for those uphill sections.
Spider Rubber Outsole
These sandals utilise innovative Spider Rubber for the outsole, a high-performing rubber compound, with uniquely designed channels, that provide an optimum level of grip on wet surfaces. The grippy outsole pattern features tiered traction lugs to provide great grip and traction on uneven terrain, biting into the ground beneath for power and control. Cutouts shave down the weight without sacrificing grip.
