This upper works closely with the midsole's movement, which creates a smoother stride from footstrike to toe-off while the reflective details enhances visibility in low light conditions. Lastly, a traditional lacing system help to lock the feet down and prevents any excessive movement.

FF BLAST Midsole

To improve cushioning and flexibility, ASICS has added FF BLAST cushioning to the midsole which creates a lightweight impact absorption zone and a responsive energy return. A 3D Space Construction has been implemented to the top layer of the midsole. This technology is implemented through a series of strategically planted pillars within the midsole, allowing runners to experience more compression in a specific area without reducing durability or stability. These pillar formations are tuned differently in the men's and women's models to address each gender's biomechanical data. By helping runners appropriately compress the foam during the landing phase of their stride, this shoe promotes a smoother ride and improves shock absorption. ASICS Lite Rubber Outsole

Supreme grip and traction are guaranteed with the ASICS Lite Rubber Outsole. ASICS' lightweight, high abrasion rubber is a tough rubber compound used at the heavy-contact or high wear areas which helps to cut down on excessive wear. The high abrasion outsole provides a strong grip and works to protect itself from damage, and protect users from losing control and slipping. Creating a strong bond with the ground beneath it, the outsole allows you to stay in full control at all times. AHARPLUS rubber has been strategically placed in the heel to improve durability. Flex grooves also adorn the outsole to provide added traction underfoot, the grooves allow for natural foot flexion for easy, unhindered paces. An impact guidance system exists underfoot to enhance the foot's natural gait from heel strike to toe-off. The guidance line exists to enhance gait efficiency while increasing the shoe's torsional rigidity to prevent it from twisting.
