Technical Mesh Upper

Made from a technical mesh construction the Trabuco 13 ensures feet stay warm, without overheating so you can enjoy every part of your trail without being distracted. The shoe's technical mesh material helps prevent unnecessary heat build-up and feet becoming uncomfortable during intense sessions. They allow air to flow freely through the shoes and provide breathability. The upper is soft for maximum comfort against the skin. ASICS has included a sand guard on the shoes this is a protective covering that prevents sand and other debris from entering while running on the trail. A traditional lace-up system keeps your foot locked in, reducing in-shoe movement for distraction-free strides. The shoes include a lace holder that helps you keep the laces in one place to prevent them from untieing or getting in the way of your run.

100% of the shoe's upper is recycled, and ASICS have used bio-based materials for the shoe's cushioning. They have also used less water and reduced their carbon emissions while producing the shoe's sockliner, and the insole, toe box, eyelet, tongue, and collar lining are all made from recycled materials. Better for you, better for the environment.

FF Blast Plus Eco Midsole

The Gel-Trabuco 13 has been constructed using FlyteFoam Blast Plus Eco cushioning, providing the perfect balance of lightweight and rebound properties. These layers of protection, bounce and comfort provide unmatched shock absorption and a lively ride. Its reinforced, organic fibres let the material bounce back to its original shape after every run so that you can train harder, more frequently and for longer without the worry that your shoes might not be able to take it. The Eco Foam features 20% more foam compared to the standard FF Blast Plus Foam. The foam is made from at least 20% bio-based material from renewable sources such as leftover waste from sugar cane processing. The midsole also includes PureGEL in the rear foot, which absorbs the impact of each foot strike and provides a smoother transition as your foot rolls. This helps to conserve energy and provides soft and bouncy cushioning. Completing the midsole is the EVA sockliner which increases underfoot cushioning for long sessions on the trail.

ASICSGRIP Outsole

Completing the shoes is ASICS proprietary outsole rubber that provides high grip on various terrain, without compromising durability. The ASICSGRIP Outsole offers improved grip on a range of surfaces, wet and dry for fast confident footing. The lugged outsole pattern features ASICSGRIP rubber while incorporating an uphill and downhill lug pattern on the lateral and medial side of the shoe to improve traction on slippery terrain.A rock protection plate helps the outsole stay flexible and shields the foot from abrupt terrain or trail debris.
