Engineered with an AquaDry membrane the dual-layered fused waterproof fabric offers an 12,000 hydrostatic head and exceptional breathability. The fabrication works hard to keep you comfortable and dry when the weather takes a turn for the worst. The waterproof fabric repels heavy rain to ensure complete protection from the moment you put it on till the moment you take it off. As well a this, the highly breathable fabric allows increases airflow to reduce an uncomfortable heat build-up. The fabric allows cool air to flow throughout the garment whilst, a the same time allowing hot, humid air to escape; this creates a perfect microclimate for your skin to thrive in. Within the jacket, Craghoppers' signature Thermopro technology has been used to ensure increased warmth on cold days. This insulating technology provides a viable synthetic alternative to natural down. The innovative ThermoPro fill uses specially constructed fibres to simulate down construction, delivering comparable heat retention properties. Thermopro works to trap escaping body heat within its fibres to ensure complete warmth on the coldest of days.
A fixed hood with internal collar offers extra protection against testing weather conditions with one hand adjusters to front and toggle adjuster at the back for quick and convenient adjustment for a customisable fit. A full zip provides adjustable ventilation whilst ensuring the elements are locked out when the weather becomes testing. The zip can be worn up to seal in escaping heat or, worn down to release an intolerable heat build-up. An inner drawcord hem adjuster and ribbed inner cuffs offer a snug, secure fit that lock or the elements or a loose fit for when you just need an extra layer. A dropped back hem ensures added coverage so you'll feel less wind chill on wintery days. Furthermore, the Pember Jacket features multiple pockets to solve all your storage needs. Two zipped handwarmer pockets are ideal for cold days whilst two bellowed button fastening pockets on the chest are perfect for valuables. A zipped inner chest pocket can be used for your phone plus, a zipped map pocket is big enough for a large map. As well as this two elasticated accessory pockets are ideal for gels. Lastly, this jacket was created using 110 recycled bottles.
