Gore C3 Windstopper Pants
Easily packed and highly functional, the Gore C3 Windstopper Pants are perfect for commuting in the wind, to days on the trail.
Using Gore's innovative GORE Windstopper technology, the whole of the area that is covered by the pants is protected and sheltered from the wind and the cold. When exposed to wind, the material will block its entry, deflecting it away from the pants and keeping you feeling comfortable. Despite blocking the wind out of it, the pants will allow a controlled flow of air in and out. As you begin to exercise, the skin will start to warm, and the air is able to pass in and out of the layer of material for breathability. This constant process will keep you feeling ventilated at a comfortable level, giving you one less distraction. The material is also water-repellent, which will wick surface water away quickly to prevent it from penetrating the layer and causing discomfort. To ensure that you have a perfectly tailored fit, the leg width is adjustable, which you can change easily with a velcro fastening. This will also protect the trouser from the chain of your bike by reducing the area and preventing it from getting caught. Finding a comfortable and secure fit is easy, as the pants have an adjustable elastic waistband. The fit of the pants can be easily adjusted with a flat cord which will sit on the waist without any bunching causing any discomfort. The pants have pre-shaped knees, which will mean that they won't be restrictive in any way, no matter what your cadence and style is, allowing you to push yourself harder and faster without being held back. The seams within the trousers are flat-lying, which will reduce the risk of irritation being caused by rubbing and chafing. Reflective logos and piping on the pants will improve your visibility to other road users and pedestrians, improving your safety. Carrying small essential items around with you can be done securely, as there is a zip pocket on the back, big enough to carry keys, a phone or energy supplements.
