Whilst working hard to protect you from the elements, Texapore technology also provides ample ventilation which works to keep you cool when temperatures rise. Within the jacket, 90/10 goose down at 800 fill keeps you warm in extreme conditions. The Down provides maximum loft to keep you warm and snug. Down insulation has an advanced treatment applied that resists heat robbing moisture and retains its loft even in damp conditions, making it perfect for wet weather adventures. The 800-fill down insulation offers optimal warmth-to-weight ratio and compressibility. Down provides more insulation per ounce than any other material, making it the optimal insulator. 800 fill power is on the higher end of the downrating scale, so you can rely on it providing great warmth and comfort in adverse conditions.

At critical points within the jacket Microguard Maxloft synthetic insulation has been used to ensure increased warmth when temperatures drop. The synthetic insulation works with the down insulation to ensure complete warmth on cold winter days. To ensure added protection on cold winter days, the deeply integrated storm hood can be used to shield the face in harsh weather. The hood features an adjustable volume and field of vision to ensure a close and comfortable fit that won't affect your vision. Pit zips under the arms are perfect for any expedition; these zips can be worn closed to seal in escaping heat or when temperatures rise they can be worn open to release an intolerable heat build-up. The pit zips work with the full zip to ensure added ventilation when you need it the most. The full zip also allows for an easy on and off for quick transitions as you go. Stretchy close-fitting cuffs with thumbhole help to seal in escaping heat whilst offering a stay-put plus, a detachable snow skirt offer added coverage when you need it the most. To ensure safety on any outdoor adventures, the Recco reflector emits your location should you get into any trouble on the climb. Two side pockets, two inside pockets, and a ski pass pocket are perfect for small essentials whilst a headphone cable port safely stores your headphones. Completing the jacket is a ski goggle cloth which allows you to remove clean your goggles on the go.
