Jack Wolfskin Kingston 30 Backpack

Lightweight, functional and made from recycled materials, the Jack Wolfskin Kingston 30 Backpack is robust and ready for to give you space for all of your essentials when you're out and about travelling. Fitted with a RECCO detector, this makes the pack easily tracked by search and rescue teams.

With a large main compartment, the Kingston 30 is able to store all your essential items easily. From clothing to outdoor equipment, it can be fitted securely into the main opening. There is also an inner pocket where you can store valuable items with that extra level of security. The inner pocket can also double up as a stow pouch for a water bladder. In addition to this, there is a base compartment where you can carry even more items. A front pocket will allow you to quickly access smaller items like food and other nutritional items. Elasticated mesh pockets on the front and sides will allow you to carry a flask or water bottle, which again will easily be able to be accessed whilst on the move. The sides are equipped for the hydration system, with a tube duct and fastener making it quick and easy to access.

The backpack is fitted with a RECCO detector. A growing number of search and rescue organisations are already equipped with RECCO detectors. The current geographic coverage includes most of the Alps, and the system is also widely used in Austria, Scandinavia, the USA and Canada.For durability, the backpack uses extremely tough material to protect both itself and its contents. Using DIAMOND RIPSTOP 300D, this robust material will prevent rips from occurring by standing up against forces pushing and pulling against it. The ripstop material is 100% recycled material, which makes the backpack a sustainable alternative. There is also a special high tenacity cross-linked polyethylene material that will provide the backplate with strength. Using an Air Control System in the back of the backpack, this will ensure that you always have good freedom of movement to allow you to have high-intensity activity with the backpack on. The central air channel will sit close to your body, and the perforated air-permeable back padding, shoulder straps and waistbelt will work to keep you cool. The backpack has hip fins that will secure the fit of the bag, but when they are not needed they can simply be stowed away. An integrated rain cover provides protection from rainfall. An adjustable sternum strap which comes with an SOS signal whistle will further allow you to adjust the fit for one that is perfect for you. The pack has lashing straps that are compatible with trekking poles and other items, making them perfect for carrying items around with you. To improve the fit and feel of the backpack, there are side compression straps that will secure the overall fit of the backpack.
