3D Solid Upper

Offering a natural fit and increased durability, the Wave Exceed Tour utilise a 3D Solid upper. Encasing your foot in breathable comfort, the shoes have an inner sleeve lining that offers superb levels of softness for next-to-skin comfort. The upper allows cool air to circulate whilst at the same time removing uncomfortable heat build-up and humidity to regulate temperature. The outside of the upper is incredibly durable, protecting against lateral drag and abrasion whilst delivering essential support and stability needed for fast, dynamic movement. The shoes also feature a DuraShield which helps to protect your feet and toes from damage while the dyna-heel locking system helps improve the fit whilst providing increased stability. The Wave Exceed Tour utilises a new tongue design that sits closely to the foot and more easily conforms to its shape to further increase comfort. Mizuno Enerzy Nxt Midsole

Mizuno has added their Enerzy compound technology into the midsole of the Wave Exceed Tour which works to absorb the shock of heel striking. This provides soft and bouncy cushioning with amazing rebound properties, keeping you on the court longer. Once the shock has been absorbed, the energy is harnessed and transferred to the forefoot to push you off and guide you onto the next movement. Providing extra cushioning in the rearfoot, the Mizuno Wave Plate spares joints when striking down on hard, unforgiving surfaces keeping the ankle in the right position for increased stability and support during fast, dynamic movement. The Wave prevents partial deformation and provides dynamic support to stabilise and guide the foot forward. The Mizuno Wave technology features heavily in the rear foot to ensure an abundance of cushioning ensuring the ankle is kept in the perfect position. Furthermore, another exceedingly lightweight material used in the midsole is PoWnCe which offers excellent comfort and resilience properties. X10 Durable Outsole

The Wave Exceed Tour features an X10 outsole compound, which has been developed with a herringbone pattern to be extremely durable, lightweight and super grippy, to provide stability and traction on clay court surfaces. X10 is made from carbon rubber for longer wearing in high-impact areas and provides more traction at the heel strike for an all-court grip. Additionally, the shoes feature D-Flex Grooves, which sit diagonally through the midfoot, allowing you to turn at your maximum speed, and power by efficiently transferring natural body movement and shift in direction.
