3D Open Mesh Upper

Exceptional breathability is guaranteed in the upper of the XA Kuban, as it uses 3D Open Mesh. This construction will allow air to enter and exit the shoes freely, which will mean that warm air that builds up within the shoes is able to escape out. Once it escapes, this is then replaced by cooler air from outside the shoes, and this will work constantly to keep you ventilated to a comfortable temperature. The synthetic material used in the upper will also improve the strength of the shoes. Thick material provides protection and structure to the feet with strong sides and overlays. A protective toe cap will reduce the risk of injuries from any bumps or knocks which you might receive. The shoe uses SensiFi, a technology developed by Salomon which cradles the foot from the midsole to the lacing system, which will provide you with a secure, snug and personalised fit. The lacing system will guarantee a secure and comfortable fit, and can be adjusted extremely easily with a one-pull tightening system called Quicklace. Once secured the laces can be put into an easy storage lace pocket. A soft tongue and padded ankle collar will reduce the risk of irritation being caused by rubbing and chafing.

Additionally, the outsole has a protective mudguard, which is a wrap around the base of the foot which protects the lateral and medial sides of the feet from splashes of dirt.
