Salomon XA Pro 3D v8 Gore-Tex Trail Running Shoes
An updated version of the XA Pro 3D Gore-Tex, the XA Pro 3D v8 Gore-Tex trail shoes are lighter and softer, all whilst retaining the essential benefits such as; stability, cushioning and grip.
Gore-Tex Upper
A Gore-Tex upper is provided in the shoes to ensure your feet are greatly protected from the ranges of weather conditions, whilst also keeping your feet comfortable. The seams are taped providing a layer of waterproof protection, allowing the wet, damp conditions to stay out, however, the mesh materials of the upper, provide optimum breathability. This ensures that there is exceptional airflow in and out of the shoes, and will wick the moisture from your feet. Therefore your feet will stay comfortable and works alongside the Gore-Tex materials to keep your feet dry. A Sensifitsystem is also provided in the upper which cradles your foot from the midsole to the lacing system, providing a secure, snug and virtually customised fit all-around your foot. Completing the upper is a Quicklace lacing system, which is 4-times stronger than regular laces, and allows easy on and off access for your shoes. The laces will give you more of a customisable fit and secure the shoe to your foot better.
3D Chassis Midsole
An EVA foam injection into the midsole provides a high-performance cushioning, that gives shock attenuation, helping you stay comfortable, and feel less fatigued. Alongside this, the Chassis TPU helps to control your side-to-side movements for stability, as well as, providing you a great amount of protection against rocks. The Chassis works to increase your forefoot flex, for a smooth, more responsive ride. An Ortholite die-cut insole is extremely soft and comfortable and works to wick away moisture keeping the feet cool and dry at all times.
Contagrip MA Outsole
Ensuring all-terrain grip, the outsole of the Salomon XA Pro 3D V8 Trail Running Shoes has been constructed using Contagrip MA. The full rubber outsole provides premium traction on loose terrain ensuring a solid bond between you and the ground. The Contagrip outsole is built for the widest variety of surfaces; it ensures confidence on wet, dry, hard or loose surfaces whilst still offering long-term durability so you can go further for longer with complete confidence in your footwear. As well as this, the outsole also features multidirectional lugs which dig deep into the ground when braking or changing direction. The deep lugs are able to anchor the foot into the wet and muddy ground, securing you into place whilst also forming a solid base to push off from.
