Welded Mesh Upper
A layer of welded mesh will encase each foot in breathable comfort. The construction moves naturally with your foot, ensuring ultimate comfort and unrivalled durability. Completing the upper is Salomon's QuickLace system which provides a minimalistic and strong lace for a one-pull tightening, which ensures you get the shoes on and off, using minimal effort. A lace pocket will come in handy as it allows the laces to be stowed away, ensuring they don't get caught or snagged on any obstacles on the trail, therefore reducing distractions.
Energy Cell Midsole
The midsole of the shoe is injected and compressed with EVA, which forms the EnergyCell Midsole. This is a multifunctional midsole that provides both comfort and protection, as it has dual-density EVA. Towards the bottom, the EVA is very firm, which absorbs shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole of the foot. The energy produced will be returned, giving you more of a spring in your step. The higher the midsole, the EVA becomes less densely packed, making every step feel comfortable. Completing the midsole is the advanced chassis helps to optimise motion control, energy management and protection for an efficient, stable yet responsive ride. The chassis works to maximise control and protection so that you can remain stable on uneven terrain.
Contragrip TA Outsole
Tackle any trails in supreme confidence, you won't be let down by your shoes grips. Using Contragrip, the outsole is able to form a solid grip between shoe and terrain. Contragrip TA is built for maximum grip on loose, soft, rugged and uneven terrain. Contragrip TA uses deep, sharp lugs to deliver optimum grip and keep you grounded on tough terrain. When you are running on the wet, muddy ground, the shoe's deep chevron lugs dig into the ground, anchoring you in place. It will also benefit you by acting as a solid base for you to push off from when you're in stride and dig you into the ground when you're braking and changing directions.
