Mesh Upper

The upper of the Wildcross 2 is constructed from an ultra durable, yet breathable mesh that keeps feet feeling fresh and cool by allowing built-up sweat and vapour to escape. Fresh air can then flow in for a pleasant cooling sensation. The surface of the shoe will also work to wick any moisture away, which will keep the feet feeling lightweight and comfortable, as well as feeling dry. This updated upper has athletic lines and a higher heel so that you can look and feel fast. A protective, moulded toe cap and mudguard ensure that your feet stay protected as you rack up the miles whilst also making the shoe more durable. The shoes use Sensifit technology, which will protect the feet to ensure that you have a comfortable and personalised fit around the midfoot. The shoes have a Kevlar Quicklace, which will allow you to secure and loosen the fit extremely quickly and securely. Once fastened, the laces can be stored in a pocket, keeping them stored neatly. A soft and padded tongue and ankle collar will feel extremely comfortable, and will also reduce the risk of rubbing and chafing.

Responsive EVA Midsole

Fitted with a moulded EVA footbed which provides excellent next to foot cushioning and anatomical support. The Dual-Density Compression EVA is a high-quality foam that's responsible for cushioning the foot throughout the running session. It's long-lasting, so it won't break down easily and is also responsive and springy. The Dual-Density is a platform design that prevents the foot from wobbling laterally or medially whilst traversing the trail. It basically keeps the mid-sole firm in that respect. but it doesn't limit the flexibility of the sole unit itself. Runners can still appreciate natural movement, especially when gearing towards the toe-off.

Contagrip Outsole

Ensuring all-terrain grip, the outsole of the Wildcross 2 has been constructed using Contagrip. The full rubber outsole provides premium traction on loose terrain ensuring a solid bond between you and the ground. The Contagrip outsole is built for the widest variety of surfaces; it ensures confidence on wet, dry, hard or loose surfaces whilst still offering long-term durability so you can go further for longer with complete confidence in your footwear. As well as this, the outsole also features multidirectional lugs which dig deep into the ground when braking or changing direction. The deep lugs are able to anchor the foot into wet and muddy ground, securing you into place whilst also forming a solid base to push off from.
