Dynamic Expansive Mesh Upper

The upper of the Jazz 21 Running Shoes are constructed of a dynamic expansive mesh, a breathable upper that accommodates a wider range of runners. Perforations in the fabric encourage cool air to circulate, removing uncomfortable heat build up, creating a healthy environment for your foot to thrive in. The upper also features minimal seams and heat melted overlays, these combined together provide unrivaled comfort, eliminating the chances of chafing and discomfort. The heat melted overlays work also closely with the traditional lacing system to help provide structural integrity and a locked-in fit. In addition, padded tongue, heel, and collar all work endlessly to ensure comfort is number one when running in the Jazz 21, placed in the places where you would appreciate it most.

PWRFOAM Midsole

Better connecting you to your run, the Saucony Jazz 21 features a FORMFIT Performance contoured footbed; a dynamic 3D cradle to fit, cushion, and support a range of foot shapes and loading patterns so that no matter how your foot presses down the Jazz 21 will you hug you back every step of the way. Engineered with 3 layers of foam, each with a distinct mechanical property that interacts with your unique anatomy and stride. The top layer consists of a soft sockliner; conforming to the shape of your foot the top layer offers customized comfort and an exact contact surface area along your entire foot. The EVERUN topsole offers a lively, durable layer that adapts to your unique pressure pattern to ensure a smooth ride. The lower layer of the midsole cradles and supports the natural foot shape, absorbing impact to reduce fatigue whilst giving you a bounce back in every step. PWRFoam is incorporated into the midsole to provide a lively ride with excellent durability features. The cushioning in the shoe is distributed more evenly between the heel and forefoot thanks to the 8mm offset, resulting in a more balanced and comfortable position with every foot strike. Finished with EVERUN heel and midsole insoles for 83% energy return for a lively, cushioned step.

Tri-Flex Outsole

The Jazz 21 outsole features Saucony's Injection Blown Rubber (iBR+), which combines Saucony's proprietary compound with a manufacturing process that results in reduced material waste and improved outsole resilience. The liquid moulding process produces an outsole which is highly consistent and durable for supreme cushioning underfoot. XT-900 Carbon element is incorporated into the outsole which offers exceptional traction and durability, while the outsole tread pattern provides supreme multi-surface grip. Meanwhile, a new Tri-Flex outsole formation delivers more ground contact and optimal flexibility at the toe-off, benefitting the wearer with new levels of traction, comfort and control.
