We've taken our best-selling Ether Light XT mat and increased the insulation to make it warmer for when the mercury drops. With an R-value over 6, our 10cm thick Ether Light XT Extreme air mat redefines lightweight sleeping comfort for winter adventures around the globe.
Designed to provide a comfortable nights sleep, the Sea To Summit Ether Light XT Insulated Mat is perfect for camping adventures. Lightweight, quiet and grippy, the Mat has been constructed using a 30/40D Nylon fabric. The fabrication provides ample durability but, if you do get a puncture, the mat is field repairable. Included with the mat are self-adhesive patches that allow you to plug holes. The Ether Light has been constructed using Air Sprung Cells which offer a more comfortable nights sleep. The larger air pockets are created by using many looped TPU baffles which connect the top and bottom fabric layers. These looped baffles are positioned further apart creating larger pockets of air when inflated that require less fabric overall. The larger pockets let you sink into the mat without touching the ground, this ensures complete comfort even for side sleepers. As well as this, the mat has been constructed using Exkin Platinum which helps to radiate heat back into the body. Working with Exkin Platinum is Thermolite Insulation which makes the Ether Light perfect for cold-weather camping. Thermolite insulation lofts up inside the Air Sprung Cells to prevent convective heat loss from your warm body to the cold ground. Thermoloft high loft insulation is a fiberfill constructed with a unique 3D crimp of hollow-core and solid fibres, which provide excellent lightweight warmth with superior durability. Lastly, to make inflation and deflation easier Sea to Summit has developed the multi-function valve.
