FUTURELIGHT Upper

The VECTIV Exploris II Leather utilises a FUTURELIGHT upper for ultimate protection and outstanding breathability. FUTURELIGHT is The North Face's most advanced breathable and waterproof fabric technology engineered for unbeatable comfort and excellent protection in poor weather. The highly breathable compound allows air and vapour to permeate through the garment, whilst maintaining waterproofness, to improve temperature regulation and reduce overheating in changing weather. Alongside this is a nubuck leather upper to supply feet with comfort and protection on the trails. The flexible leather allows you to move your feet comfortably and naturally, providing you with an unrestricted experience, whilst still ensuring enhanced breathability and moisture-wicking properties to prevent discomfort. The durable nature of the leather means that the shoes are well protected against knocks, bumps and scrapes in changing terrains. A soft, comfortable collar and tongue sit against your foot comfortably, preventing irritation or chafing, and keeping the foot locked in during excessive movement. A heel loop helps you get the shoes on and off easier. Finally, the lacing system locks down the midfoot for a secure fit, preventing in-shoe slipping and keeping you prepared for whatever the trail throws at you.

Providing in-shoe stability and a soft, cushioned landing, the VECTIV Exploris II Leather utilises VECTIV 2.0 technology through the midsole. The compound features a 3D footplate which delivers exceptional propulsion with enhanced stability across rough terrain. The TPU footplate features a forked construction at the front and rear for improving lateral displacement. Working alongside this, VECTIV 2.0 has a rocker geometry to enhance your walking performance by providing you with long-lasting forward propulsion, expelling energy and keeping strides fluid and comfortable. Utilising a premium EVA foam, the midsole cushions your landing, and provides shock-absorbing properties, protecting your feet as you strike down on hard, unforgiving surfaces. The shoes have been made on an updated D-width last to accommodate a broader set of foot shapes, for enhanced stability to keep you confident on the trails. With a 2mm higher stack height, these shoes offer a comfort-centric ride.

SurfaceCTRL Rubber Outsole

Featuring a durable, bio-based SurfaceCTRL rubber outsole, the VECTIV Exploris II Leather provides you with superior traction and durability for comfort on a range of trail surfaces. For grip and traction on both wet and dry surfaces, the robust outsole provides you with multi-directional support across a range of surfaces on your trail adventure. Providing you resilience across tough surfaces, the outsole will adapt to all conditions and provide you enhanced longevity, specifically in areas that are usually high-wearing. Adorning the outsole are 4mm lugs for even more durability and outstanding grip in the areas you need it most.
