The IRock Plus has been designed with a new noticeably wider last, and a lot more room in the toe box and forefoot area, making the shoe a lot more spacious than the original versions.

Armoured Nylon Mesh Upper

Constructed using an armoured nylon mesh upper, the IRock Plus ensures optimal airflow whilst being durable and protective. The upper allows for optimal airflow, by allowing warm air to escape, and cool air to enter, creating the perfect microclimate for your feet. This will work constantly over a long period, keeping you feeling cool and comfortable over long miles. The Fitlock system works alongside a traditional lacing system to provide a personalised fit on the inside and under the arch of your foot for a smoother and more secure experience. A new, noticeably wider last makes the shoe a lot more spacious than previous versions and features more room in the toe box and forefoot area, but it has the same precise fit in the heel and midfoot. Synthetic overlays help protect your toes from rocks and uneven surfaces and finally, the soft, padded heel reduces irritation caused by rubbing to enhance comfort.

LightEVA Midsole

Utilising a full-length LightEVA midsole, the IRock Plus offers lightweight, responsive cushioning. Soft and durable, the midsole spares your joints as you strike down on hard, unforgiving surfaces. Exceptionally lightweight, the EVA ensures long-lasting cushioning to keep you comfortable when tackling the trickiest of terrains. The midsole is extremely firm and will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole. The energy produced from this will also be returned as a rebound, giving you an added spring in your step.

Superior Contact Outsole

Featuring a unique outsole comprising of Butyl rubber, the IRock Plus utilises a Superior Contact outsole that ensures ultimate control and traction whilst out on the trails. The outsole can form an extremely strong grip with a wide range of different terrains, guaranteeing complete underfoot traction. Naturally tough, the outsole will maintain its shape and definition over a long period. 5.5mm multi-directional lugs have been meticulously shaped and positioned to improve propulsion at the front, and braking at the rear. Measured spacing between the lugs prevents debris from sticking to the outsole, cuts through loose trails and remains super-durable, but also gives great grip in wet conditions.
