Breathable Sprintweb Mesh Upper
Designed for track runners who compete in middle distance events, the upper of the Adizero Ambition 4 is made for maximum comfort and support with minimum weight. An asymmetrical lightweight two-mesh upper provides breathability; cool air is encouraged to circulate, removing uncomfortable heat build up for a healthy environment for your foot to thrive in. The seamless, supportive Sprintweb provides excellent stability in lateral movements to promote an elite performance. The Sprintweb technology works in tandem with the Microfit that is specific to all Adizero models. Made for high speed the Sprintweb locks down the forefoot whilst the Microfit provides a soft, glove-like fit that secures the foot for a direct fit and a fast run.
EVA Midsole
A low, full-length EVA midsole provides lightweight cushioning made to fit the needs of middle-distance runners. The EVA midsole ensures stable cushioning and responsiveness to give for a smooth, responsive ride. Light in weight and low in profile, it spares joints and attenuates shock when striking down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces.
Pebax Plate Outsole
The outsole is made using a Pebax Plate with a 4 spike footfall that allow you to dig into the ground and launch you forward from the very start. The Pebax Plate offers maximum energy return while remaining extremely lightweight and durable. The moulded sharkskin-textured outsole provides lightweight, ultimate grip so you can remain light on your feet without compromising stable footing. Complete with replaceable spike pins, these shoes are a must for middle distance sprinting events - you'll be sure to fly to the finish line.
**You don't want to feel your toe cramped up against the front of the shoe. A spike should feel like it was meant for your foot, a little more snug than a training shoe feels so we would recommend half a size up on normal shoes**
