Designed for hikes and rugged summit scrambles, these Terrex Skychaser balance protection, control and comfort for moving fast on and off the trail. A waterproof GORE-TEX EPE membrane keeps your feet dry, able to breathe and regulates temperature, while the ripstop upper and abrasion-resistant overlays keep them light and durable.

GORE-TEX Upper

The Terrex Skychaser GORE-TEX keep feet feeling fresh, dry and comfortable throughout your long hiking endeavours. Thanks to a durable, Ripstop upper with abrasion-resistant overlays, the shoes keep feet well-protected and shielded from knocks, bumps and scrapes on rugged, changing trails. The durable upper is lightweight with breathable properties to help prevent feet from becoming uncomfortable when things heat up, for an enjoyable, focused ride. Working with this, the walking shoes feature a GORE-TEX EPE membrane which seals out wet, soggy conditions, preventing puddles and rain from entering the shoes, to keep feet dry. The quick-drying structure of GORE-TEX means that even when things get hot and sweaty, feet remain dry and comfortable, thanks to its ability to wick moisture from the surface of your skin. Finally, the shoes feature a speed lace closure to provide a locked-in, secure fit that's quick and easy to adjust.

Lightstrike Midsole

Keeping things light, soft and bouncy underfoot, the shoes feature a Lightstrike midsole compound, for responsive strides and enjoyable hiking on challenging terrains. The soft compound provides ultra-comfortable landing and shock-absorbing properties to prevent discomfort or possible injury when striking down onto unforgiving, constantly shifting terrain. The light and springy ride supports your feet when walking and ensures it remains as lightweight as possible so that you can feel confident in your strides. Working alongside this, the shoes feature an Ortholite sockliner for added support and comfort. A Stability Plate provides feet with durable flexing properties, and midfoot stability, for excellent support and comfort.

Continental Rubber Outsole

For durability, traction and support when hiking tricky trails and on uphill terrain, the shoes feature a Continental rubber outsole. The outsole offers traction across a range of surfaces, including wet and dry conditions, whilst has a TPU heel clip for even more stability in changing conditions. The multi-directional lugs bite into the earth for excellent traction on soft surfaces. The rubber itself is highly durable, resisting damage for long-lasting use.

By choosing recycled, adidas can reuse materials that have already been created, which helps to reduce waste. Renewable materials choices will help them to remove their reliance on finite resources. The products made with a blend of recycled and renewable materials feature at least 20% total of these materials.
