Breathable Mesh Upper

Comfort and breathability are ensured in the Gel-Phoenix 12; with a breathable mesh material encasing your feet, you will remain confident and focused during training sessions. The comfortable materials provide feet with a constant supply of air which travels through the uppers, supplying feet with a cool, fresh wearing experience and preventing you from becoming uncomfortable. The materials have quick-drying properties to further prevent discomfort, by preventing a build-up of sweat or moisture and ensuring feet stay cool and dry. The flexible nature of the materials means that feet can move comfortably within the shoes, making strides easy and natural. Overlays reinforcements feature in areas of the shoes that are usually high-wearing, meaning that feet and the shoes stay protected from bumps, scrapes and bashes when exercising. This lightweight shoe has a cushioned tongue and collar to keep prevent irritation or chafing from occurring when moving around, whilst keeping feet locked in within the shoes. Finally, a traditional lace-up secures feet and prevents in-shoe movement.

Absorbing impact when striking down on hard, often unforgiving surfaces, the foam is super soft with shock-absorbing properties, to allow a bouncy, responsive landing. FlyteFoam is 55% lighter than the industry standard midsole compounds and it buffers against the ground to protect you from unnecessary stress and fatigue. FlyteFoams reinforced, organic fibres let the material bounce back to its original shape after every run - so you can train harder, more frequently for longer, without the worry that your shoes might not be able to take it. Working with this, the shoes feature a GEL cushioning compound in the heel to encourage soft landings and provide a smooth ride. Finally, a Duomax Support System enhances your foot's stability preventing overpronation and keeping you stable when running.
