Berghaus Expeditor Ridge 2.0 Women's Walking Boots
Striding out in style is easier than ever with the refreshed Expeditor Ridge 2.0 Walking Boot. It's still crammed with great technology, from the robust leather upper to shock-absorbing EVA midsoles for a little extra cushioning.
Waterproof Leather Upper
The uppers of the walking boots cover your foot with comfortable treated leather, that's incredibly durable and protects the feet from injury caused by rocks and debris. To protect the fabric from getting damaged and your feet getting wet, the upper is lined with an AQ waterproof protective layering, ensuring all-day dryness, and exceptional comfort. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system, which locks down the midfoot to ensure a distraction-free stride throughout your journey.
EVA Midsole
A full-length platform of EVA resides underfoot for lightweight, responsive cushioning. Generous, soft and durable, it spares your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces. Exceptionally lightweight, the EVA ensures long-lasting cushioning to keep you comfortable on long-distance days. EVA is extremely firm, which will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole of the foot. The energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. The midsole ensures you're ready for unpredictable trails and tough terrain. As well as this, a breathable, cushioned Ortholite footbed ensures long-lasting underfoot comfort. The insole allows for ample ventilation so your feet remain cool, dry and comfortable at all times, as well as, prevents unpleasant odours.
OPTI-STUD Outsole
An exceptional grip is provided through the means of OPTI-STUD outsoles, allowing you to stay confident and comfortable on uneven, tricky terrains. The Berghaus traction system combines both large and small lugs to provide a cushioning impact and bite into the ground, allowing your feet to make effective contact with the floor, and providing stability even on the trickier hikes.
