Craghoppers Kirsten Women's Jacket
Using multiple technologies you dry, warm and comfortable, the Craghoppers Kirsten Women's Jacket is perfect for the colder months, and it has also been sustainably produced, using approximately 75 recycled plastic bottles.
Constructed to be extremely long-length, this will provide a large amount of coverage, perfect for colder days where you have an increased surface area of cover. The jacket has a high loft level of insulation. This will extremely efficiently retain heat inside the jacket and against the body even on the coldest winter days. The jacket also uses an Aquadry membrane. This top of the range fabric delivers fantastic levels of waterproofness and breathability. It is a laminated fabric, the combination of fusing a waterproof breathable membrane to our durable outer face fabric. The result is a fabric that is strong, yet comfortable to wear, and a durable water-repellent finish helps keep the outer fabric drier for longer. By being completely waterproof, the jacket will keep dry as well as warm. As your body begins to warm up, the jacket will thermo-regulate you and the temperature within the jacket. Air is still able to pass through the jacket, and this will also allow moisture to escape out. This will mean that if you start sweating, the small moisture particles can escape out, keeping it dry within. A full zip down the front of the jacket is easy to adjust, and a wind flap will provide protection from the chilly air. There are also button fasteners at the top of the jacket to further seal in heat. There is a grown on hood which also has toggle adjusters, allowing you to find a comfortable and personalised fit. The hood has a removable faux-fur trim and there is also a fleece inner, which will provide a cosy environment to the head, providing warm shelter. In total, the jacket has nine pockets. These include two stud fastening pockets, two zipped hand pocket, and five internal pockets that vary in size, allowing you to carry both big and small essential items securely. There is also an RFID pocket which will act as a security pocket to prevent accidental use or deliberate misuse of credit cards and passports by blocking radio signals from activating the chip. The cuffs have button adjusters which will keep air in the sleeves to keep arms warm. As well as this, the lowered hem will offer more coverage below the waist. Flat-lying seams inside the jacket will remove the risk of irritation being caused from harsh rubbing against the skin. The jacket is produced using approximately 75 recycled plastic bottles, making it a sustainable winter option.
