Deuter Guide 30 Backpack
Climate neutral, PFA free and lightweight are the hallmarks of the Guide backpack with no-fuss handling. Hard-wearing materials, further improved ice axe and helmet attachment systems, a stowable rope strap, and hip fins make this backpack a versatile companion for demanding projects - and compatible with a climbing harness.
Simple, lightweight and practical, the Guide is a full-featured backpack for mountaineers. The backpack delivers carrying comfort and a perfect fit through ergonomically cut shoulder straps with an easily adjustable sternum strap to help stabilise the pack on the shoulders. Reduced to the essentials - you can still carry loads comfortably with the Alpine back system. The flexible, tensioned Delrin U-frame provides stability and a comfortable load distribution at minimum weight. For additional comfort, softstripe pads embrace the back flexibly with every movement. In conjunction with the streamlined pack, the load is always close to the body's centre of gravity. This guarantees full control of the backpack. Hip fins help you to distribute the load and sit comfortably against the body and a hipbelt helps to adjust the fit.
The pack features various-sized pockets for all your needed essentials! The main compartment is perfect for storing all your gear and can be quickly and easily accessed via the lid with a drawstring, whilst a mobile phone pocket can be found on the side of the pack to keep valuables safe and secure. Additional storage space can be stored in the lid pocket or front pocket which are ideal for items you need quick access to, a stretch compartment inside is useful for separating dirty/wet clothes from clean clothes. Don't worry if your backpack is full to the brim, as loop attachments can be found on the pack, perfect for storing accessories such as hiking poles or skis. Ice axe attachment points keep them safely secure and ready for when you need them and a stowable rope strap allows you to easily attach rope for climbs.
For hydration on the go, the backpack is compatible with 3L bladders which offer quick bursts of water when needed. Safety is key when out trekking in the wilderness, so don't worry as the pack has you covered with an SOS label that provides the most important tips in case of an emergency, and an integrated whistle on the sternum strap. Compression straps help to shrink the pack and distribute the load for reduced load wobble. A glasses stow system on the shoulder strap keeps your glasses safe and at hand. A mesh helmet holder is integrated into the top of the pack but can be moved to the front should you wish and a key clip keeps keys easy to find. Built streamlined, light and durable, the Guide is ideal for those ambitious mountaineers who need to get the job done. With a PFA-free DWR, ClimatePartner accreditation and the title of 2022 ISPO award winner, it's an eco-conscious choice too.
