Designed to be durable and tough, the Paragon 40 has been created with a 100D high-density Nylon / 210D high-density Nylon body and 300D 40% Recycled Nylon Ripstop base. Both have been treated with a DWR (Durable Water Resistant) to protect your items in light rain and snow showers. The bag uses a perimeter alloy frame and fibreglass anti-barreling cross-stay for stable load management and torsional flexibility this has been combined with a 3D comfort cradle that provides hotspot-free, body-hugging comfort. Increasing comfort the backpack includes an adjustable torso length backpanel which incorporates AirCushion providing breathable, padded comfort. The backpanel allows cool air to flow in and out, keeping your back cool and comfortable as you take on tough ascents. Not only this, Gregory has included FreeFloat dynamic hipbelt flex panels that move with the natural movements of your body and a perforated dual-density shoulder harness with a sternum strap and hose clip, to provide a close and comfortable fit that moves with the body.
The bag boasts plenty of storage space too, included is a floating top pocket with a large zippered compartment and an underside zippered pocket, with reflective attachment points and a key clip. This has a quick-pull drawcord closure and top webbing compression to secure your items. An On-The-Go shoulder strap pocket has been added, designed for the Garmin inReach device or your favourite trail snack or sunglasses. Further pockets include dual side stretch mesh pockets, one with side trail access and pass-through for over or under-compression and a front oversized stretch mesh pocket with secure buckle closure. Furthering storage space custom moulded attachment loops and upper shock lock provide a space for trekking poles or an ice axe when not in use. Inside the pack, there's an internal hydration sleeve with a SpeedClip hydration hanger compatible with Gregory's 3D Hydro reservoir (reservoir not included). Perfect for overnight stays, the bag features a zippered bottom sleeping bag compartment with a removable divider while a raincover is included in a dedicated zippered pocket, under the top lid to complete the Paragon 40 Backpack.
