Upper - Synthetic leather/Nylon mesh
The Inov8 Roclite 295 Running Shoes are constructed from a flexible nylon mesh upper with mesh inner lining providing all round breathability and key ventilation, keeping your feet cool and dry through every step. Providing stabilisation and security to the upper fabric, synthetic leather overlays connecting to the lacing eyelets and wrapping around the midsection coincide with an aesthetically designed fabric overlays to enable a close tight fitting with maximum support and reducing torsion to maintain the shape and form, while still looking good.
Staying with the upper features, a full forefoot abrasion resistant compound rubber is integrated over the mesh to diminish any unwanted debris and fight back against sharp, uneven terrains, while a rear heel counter promotes optimal stability from heel strike to toe-off, overall prolonging the shoe's expectancy.
Midsole - EVA Compound/Meta-Shank
Fighting your way through the rock and mud a 6mm EVA compound midsole merged to the upper provides full foot cushioning, reducing pressures on the underfoot and arch, allowing for a clean, well-balanced stride through transition. Working alongside, a 5 finger, 2nd generation polymer Meta-Shank aligns with each individual metatarsal for increased underfoot impact protection. Lastly Met Cradle provides Specific, anatomically placed support in the upper cradles the foot and provides a secure hold for your feet.
Outsole - Roclite/Meta-Flex
Inov-8's Sticky ROCLITE compound outsole has been specially developed using climbing rubber technology. This rubber optimises grip in wet conditions, providing floor fighting traction, however the trade off is it wears down quicker. Unifying the outsole engineering, Meta-Flex forefoot flex grooves with Fascia Band tech, can be found along the outsole lending the forefoot greater freedom of movement and allowing you to be more reflexive, aiding propulsion efficiency.
