For technical footwear, a good fit is essential to enhance your performance. Inov8's new Shoe Fit Scale makes it easier to find the perfect fitting shoe. All Inov8 shoes are designed with Met-Cradle technology to lock down the mid-foot for a stable hold, where they differ is in the toe box. The shoes are now graded from 1 to 5, Grade 1 representing their closest, most precise fit and Grade 5 representing the widest fitting toe box.

The lower the number on the scale, the narrower the fit, which ensures minimal internal movement of the foot when running fast on technical terrain. Shoes with the higher numbers on the scale will suit athletes with a wider foot and those wanting that extra comfort in the toe box. This wider toe box allows the toes to splay for increased stability when lifting heavy weights. It's also perfect for longer runs and races when toes begin to swell.

Inov8 have graded the Traifly 250 Trail Running Shoes as Grade 4.

Durable Upper

Utilising premium materials through the upper construction of the Trailfly 250, these shoes boost protection and durability for ensuring feet remain comfortable throughout. The mesh provided in the upper will allow for your feet optimal airflow in, and out of the shoes, by allowing warm air to escape, and cool air to enter, curating the perfect microclimate for your feet. This will constantly work over a long period of time, keeping you feeling cool and comfortable over long miles. The upper is also designed to protect the foot from any bumps or knocks. A wide toe-box allows you to remain comfortable, and a forefoot rand enhances the shoes' durability while also keeping them protected. Finally, a padded tongue shapes the foot for a more comfortable fit and a traditional lacing system further ensures that feet are secure inside the shoes.

Powerflow Max Midsole

The midsoles of the Trailfly 250 are constructed from Powerflow Max midsole foam, which provides you with ultimate comfort. The midsole foam technology delivers a greater bounce as well as, exceptional energy return. Not only this, but the materials offer you excellent durability, and shape retention for the perfect cushioned fit. Additionally, a Boomerang insole is made from expanded Thermo Polyurethane balls which work to compress and spring back for 40% more energy return than any previous insoles. The effective cushioning of the midsole will mean that joints like the knees and ankles will have reduced impact, preventing injuries and fatigue from occurring. Shocks are also absorbed instantly and effectively, reducing the risk of injuries from heavy or sharp impacts against the sole of the foot.

Inov8 Rubber Outsole

Providing you with long-lasting grip and traction, the Trailfly 250's utilise a durable rubber outsole. By being so tough, the outsole will remain functional and effective over both the long run and over time.
